OCCUPY ESPN BLOG

image from http://www.surathgiri.com
ESPN action to shutdown the Big East blog seems to back firing back on their face as angry AAC fans travel from blog to blog making their voice heard. The move started from #OccupyStanford to the SEC blog now currently the BIG blog. Although it's fun watching all this virtual blog riot play out, I wonder if ESPN really care? fellow ESPN blogger David Ching during his today chat respond to ambush of ACC questions stating "Somebody is most likely trolling here because there have been like 20 questions related to this in the queue. I really don't know anything about that, so you'll have to go elsewhere to get an answer. Beat writers aren't high enough on the totem pole to give you a solid answer." But I myself finds it hard to believe this writers are clueless about a decision to shutdown a major sport blog on a sport major site. Hopefully we would get some kind of answer soon from ESPN but for now let the virtual blog riot continue.

  1. ESPN has made a big time error - and they need to reconsider.

You have made many loyal fans MAD by stopping the college football blog with the
conversion of the Big East football conference to the new American Athletic
Conference. Why? No explanation, no warning, no thank you to fans... You have
major programs in a BCS conference and you are missing the boat - Big Time!!
