ESPN Takes a Hit

According to yahoo news ESPN takes a huge hit on rating dropping a whopping 32% for the April - June period when compared to 2012. This is actually understandable for me because those months was during the basketball season. I do not think ESPN when I want to watch an NBA game, usually TBS or ABC network. Being that football season is right around the conner especially college football I wonder what the rating would look like. I am personally hoping that ESPN decision to drop the AAC blog would affect reflect on the rating as fan like me are very mad about that particular decision. A lot of AAC fans are still camping out on the Stanford blog, but I can't help to wonder how long that would last.

OCCUPY ESPN BLOG

image from http://www.surathgiri.com
ESPN action to shutdown the Big East blog seems to back firing back on their face as angry AAC fans travel from blog to blog making their voice heard. The move started from #OccupyStanford to the SEC blog now currently the BIG blog. Although it's fun watching all this virtual blog riot play out, I wonder if ESPN really care? fellow ESPN blogger David Ching during his today chat respond to ambush of ACC questions stating "Somebody is most likely trolling here because there have been like 20 questions related to this in the queue. I really don't know anything about that, so you'll have to go elsewhere to get an answer. Beat writers aren't high enough on the totem pole to give you a solid answer." But I myself finds it hard to believe this writers are clueless about a decision to shutdown a major sport blog on a sport major site. Hopefully we would get some kind of answer soon from ESPN but for now let the virtual blog riot continue.

New AAC blog

It's clear that ESPN has dropped the Big East blog with no plans of launching an AAC blog, so what dose that mean for us AAC fans...

#No lunch links
#No AAC coverage
#No articles of our home teams
#No place for UL to get love (thats a win for UL)
#No place to bash Rutgers

Comment below using #No to describe what this means

P.S my version of lunch would be posted at 12pm SHARP!!!!
LONG LIVE AAC!!!!!
